EDITORIAL TRANSPARENCY
Sources, Dates and Corrections
Understand what our article labels mean and how to report a correction.
Authorship and experience
The editorial-team name identifies organizational responsibility for the guide. It does not represent an instructor, medical examiner or other professional credential. Our founder’s publicly described role is an active flight student, Zenith builder and heritage-project steward. Those roles do not establish instructor qualifications or airworthiness.
Dates describe different events
Published is the recorded original publication date. Record updated is the CMS revision timestamp; it can reflect editorial or formatting work and does not establish that every claim was rechecked. Source checked dates apply to the specific sources or comparison shown. A qualified technical-review date is added only after an identified professional actually reviews the relevant claims.
The original guide dates
The CMS version history records owner-review and publication approval on July 22, 2026 for the original twelve guides. July 29 versions describe editorial copy cleanup. These dates identify different events; the July 29 change is not recorded as a new qualified regulatory or medical review. Later editing dates reflect actual revisions, with source checks and technical review identified separately.
Sources and qualified review
Use current FAA regulations and guidance for regulatory questions and primary provider or airport pages for local information. We label unconfirmed services explicitly. Published material provides general education and does not determine personal eligibility, medical fitness, aircraft suitability, or operational availability. No named qualified technical review is currently documented in our article records; professional review remains a separate step.
Corrections and original material
Send a page URL, the statement in question and a supporting source through our contact form. Do not submit medical records or sensitive personal information. Original photos and project records must have publication permission, dates and accurate captions. A restoration record is not an airworthiness finding, and a project aircraft is not an announced training fleet.
